Base (Algebra)

In algebra, a base is a number or variable
that is raised to a power in
exponents
and
logarithms.[2]
In the exponential expression bx,
b is the base and x is the exponent.
In the logarithmic expression
logbx, the base is
b.
In base n numbering systems, the base of the system is the number that is
represented by the digits 10.
