Construct

Pronunciation: /kənˈstrʌkt/ Explain

In mathematics, to construct is to build according to a set of rules. The rules generally consist of axioms, theorems, and definitions. A construction is the object build according to the rules. In Euclidean geometry a construction based on axioms and proved theorems is taken to be a proof.
