Pronunciation: /dɪˈskrit/ Explain

The set of integers is discrete.

A set is discrete if all the members of the set are isolated.[1] The opposite of discrete is continuous. The set of integers is discrete. The set of real numbers is continuous. Data is discrete if it can take on discrete values such as age.
