Square
Pronunciation: /skwɛər/ Explain
A square is a four-sided
polygon
whose sides intersect at
right angles.[2]
All four sides of a square are the same length.

Properties of Squares
- A square is also a rectangle.
- Perimeter of a square: P = 4s
where s is the length of one side.
- Area of a square: A = s2
where s is the length of one side.
- Center of a square:
where (x1, y1)
is coordinate of the upper left corner of the square and
(x2, y2)
is the lower right corner of the square.
- Equation of a circle inscribed in a square:
where (x1, y1)
is coordinate of the upper left corner of the square,
(x2, y2) is
the lower right corner of the square and s
is the length of a side.
