Implied Multiplication

Pronunciation: /ɪmˈplaɪd ˌmʌl.tə.plɪˈkeɪ.ʃən/ Explain

Mathematicians use implied multiplication in writing expressions to make the expression shorter. Instead of writing 2 · x or 2 × x, write 2x. The multiplication of 2 and x is implied
