System

Pronunciation: /ˈsɪs.təm/ Explain

A system is a set of objects that work together. One example of a system is a computer system.

A computer system is a collection of hardware and software. The hardware usually includes a CPU (central processing unit), memory, and a disk drive. The software usually includes BIOS, an operating system, and application software.

A linear system is a set of linear objects that when taken together; define the solution(s) of the system.
